Supervising Associate — Financial Services Regulatory (Cross‑Border Unit)

Senior associate role within a cross‑border financial services regulatory unit of a major international practice. The team manages large-scale, multi-jurisdictional regulatory projects for global financial institutions, using technology and AI to deliver commercial, cost‑effective solutions.

The role is responsible for day‑to‑day management of allocated projects, drafting and reviewing client advice (including work produced by external counsel and technology tools), supervising junior colleagues, and supporting business development and pitching. The post-holder will also help improve processes, promote use of AI, and support training and development across the unit.

This is a hybrid role across UK offices with a strong emphasis on client relationship management, cross‑team collaboration and commercial project delivery.

• 3–6 years post‑qualification experience, with a focus on cross‑border financial services regulation (private practice or in‑house).
• Strong academic background and demonstrable regulatory technical skills.
• Experience supervising junior lawyers and managing project delivery under competing time pressures.
• Commercial client focus, excellent interpersonal and drafting skills, and willingness to adopt AI/technology in legal workflows.
