Apply in confidence →Join a market-leading financial services regulatory team in the UK on a mid-level supervisory associate basis. The team acts as a standalone regulatory practice advising sophisticated buy‑side clients (hedge funds, institutional managers and alternative asset managers) on UK and EU regulatory compliance and change projects.
The role offers early client responsibility, direct exposure to senior stakeholders, and frequent cross‑border collaboration across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. You will work on complex, non‑contentious regulatory matters and contribute to business development, thought leadership and internal initiatives including the team’s technology and AI-enabled tools.
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with approximately 4–6 years' PQE in financial services regulatory law.
- Strong technical knowledge of MiFID II/MiFIR, UCITS and AIFMD and demonstrable buy‑side experience (hedge funds, institutional asset managers or alternative managers).
- Familiarity with the FCA Handbook (COBS, SYSC, SUP), SM&CR and the UK change‑of‑control regime.
- Practical understanding of the FCA’s Consumer Duty and its implications for distribution chains and product governance.
- Excellent drafting, research and analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness and client‑facing ability.
