Top-tier US firm is seeking a tax associate to join a national fund formation practice. The role focuses on representing fund sponsors and investors on the formation and ongoing structuring of investment vehicles, with work spanning primary and secondary investments and joint ventures.

Candidates may be based in Chicago, New York, or Palo Alto. The team handles matters for venture and private equity funds and offers a collaborative environment with access to broad firm resources. Expected annual pay for this role is $365,000+ (final offers will vary by location and experience).

5+ years of tax experience advising fund sponsors and/or investors (venture and private equity experience preferred)
Experience with fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures
Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
Excellent problem-solving skills, client-facing experience, and ability to manage multiple concurrent matters
Authorized to work in the United States; willing to be based in Chicago, New York, or Palo Alto
