Apply in confidence →Leading global law firm is seeking an International Tax Associate to join a busy international tax team on a US-qualified basis. The role sits on a cross-border practice platform and offers significant exposure to multi-jurisdictional transactional and planning work.
Typical matters include international structuring and cross-border transactional planning, coordination of multi-country projects with global teams, and advising on U.S. and foreign tax technical issues. The team offers early client responsibility and collaborative, practice-wide support.
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
- 3–6 years' post-qualification experience in international tax or cross-border tax planning
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. and global international tax rules (including treaties, sourcing, ECI, FTCs) and familiarity with Subpart F / GILTI / FDII / BEAT
- Experience with withholding tax, tax-free reorganizations, IP/cost-sharing structures, BEPS frameworks and transfer-pricing documentation; financial statement and modeling familiarity a plus
- Excellent written/verbal communication, research and project-management skills; ability to work collaboratively across global teams
