National law firm seeks a Tax Associate to join its US tax team. This is a multi-office search with remote options; candidates will be considered for any office, with strong preference for applicants based in Austin, Kansas City, Milwaukee, St. Louis, or Washington, D.C.

The role focuses on complex federal transactional tax matters for both non-profit and for-profit clients, including entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Candidates will also advise on state and local tax issues (income, franchise, sales and use tax) as needed.

Minimum of 4 years of tax law experience preferred
Experience with federal transactional tax matters (entity formation, M&A, reorganizations)
