Associate — Tax (Real Estate) — Houston

Growing tax group in Houston seeks associates to support tax work for real estate matters, including REIT-related transactions and structures. The team handles technically sophisticated tax issues across acquisitions, financings and fund structures.

Successful candidates will be class years 2022 and above with strong tax research and writing abilities, excellent analytical and oral-communication skills, and an interest in creative solutions to novel tax problems.

• J.D.; law school class year 2022 or later
• Demonstrable academic strength and strong legal research and writing skills
• Familiarity with tax principles and interest or experience in real estate/REIT matters
• Excellent analytical, oral-communication and problem-solving skills
