Tax Associate — Washington, D.C.

Leading international law firm seeks a Tax Associate for its Washington, D.C. office to work on transactional tax credit matters. The role focuses on advising sponsors, developers and investors on tax aspects of project development, tax equity transactions and tax credit transfers.

The team values strong technical tax skills, excellent academic credentials and prior experience at a law firm or equivalent Big Four tax practice. This position is based in the Washington, D.C. office and requires regular in-person attendance.

• 4–7 years’ qualifying tax experience (law firm or equivalent Big Four experience)
• Practical experience advising on tax credit matters, including tax equity transactions, transfer of tax credits and tax aspects of project development
• Strong technical tax drafting and transactional skills
• Excellent academic record and proven law‑firm experience preferred
• Ability to work in-person in the Washington, D.C. office and comply with firm employment policies
