Tax Credit Senior Counsel — Tax

Seeking a Senior Counsel to join a national law firm’s tax-credit practice. This role focuses on tax credit finance and development work, with emphasis on New Markets Tax Credits and real estate finance transactions. The position is open to candidates across multiple U.S. offices, with a strong preference for candidates based in St. Louis; remote/virtual arrangements may be considered.

The team handles structuring, documentation, and closing support for tax credit transactions alongside cross-practice colleagues. The ideal hire will be proactive, commercially minded, and able to manage client relationships and deal execution with limited supervision.

• Minimum 8 years of tax credit experience, including New Markets Tax Credits
• Experience with real estate finance and tax credit structuring and documentation
• Active bar license in the state of employment or commitment to obtain promptly
• Strong drafting, project management, and client-facing skills; ability to work across offices and remotely
