Real Estate Finance Counsel — New York

Seeking a Counsel to join a large firm's Real Estate Finance practice in New York. The role sits within a multidisciplinary infrastructure and real estate group handling transactional real estate finance, lending, workouts and affordable/mixed‑income housing matters.

The team advises a broad client base on structured financings, construction and permanent lending, and affordable housing transactions. The position offers hybrid work flexibility, competitive compensation and bonus opportunities.

• Established counsel-level real estate finance experience (asset-based lending, construction/permanent finance, workouts)
• Experience with affordable housing and mixed‑use development matters preferred
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills; ability to manage transactions from negotiation through closing
• J.D. and active admission to the New York bar (or imminent admission)
