Tax Litigation Associate — Montreal

Well-established national tax disputes team is recruiting an associate to join its Montreal office. The role offers exposure to contentious tax mandates from audit and assessment stages through appeals at all court levels, working alongside senior tax litigators on complex, high‑value matters.

This is a full‑time, hybrid position within an integrated national tax group. The successful candidate will work on both local and cross‑jurisdictional files and will have opportunities for substantive courtroom and appellate experience.

• 2–6 years post‑call experience in tax law with experience in tax disputes or litigation
• Strong knowledge of Canadian income tax principles
• Excellent academic record; a graduate degree in taxation is an asset (but not required)
• Proven drafting, file management and communication skills; able to work autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams
• Interest in continuing to develop a practice focused on tax litigation
