Tax & Litigation Partner — Washington, D.C.

Established national law firm is seeking a senior tax-litigation partner to join its Washington, D.C. office. The role will lead and grow tax controversy and litigation matters, working across administrative and courtroom forums and collaborating with transactional tax and broader litigation teams.

The partner will supervise associates, contribute to case strategy and trial preparation, and play a visible role in business development to expand the practice in the D.C. market. A portable practice is welcome and there is flexibility on book-of-business expectations for the right candidate.

• Proven partner-level experience in tax controversy and litigation, including courtroom or administrative hearing exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax law and litigation strategy.
• Demonstrated leadership supervising teams and managing matter budgets and staffing.
• Business development capability; portable client relationships preferred.
• Active bar admission or eligibility to practice in Washington, D.C.
