Tax Partner — Chicago

Leading national law firm seeks a Tax Partner to join its Chicago tax practice. The role focuses on advising corporate and high-net-worth clients on federal, state, and transactional tax matters and collaborating with cross-practice teams on complex deals and restructurings.

The partner will handle substantive tax planning and controversy work, mentor and grow a team of associates, and contribute to practice development. The firm values technical excellence, client service, and cross-office coordination.

• Established tax practice with a track record of handling complex corporate and transactional tax matters
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships; a portable book of business is desirable
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax law and experience with tax controversy or transactional tax planning
• Eligible to practice in Illinois (or willing to obtain admission) and experienced in leading teams and supervising associates
