Tax Partner — Dallas

Leading national law firm is seeking a Tax Partner to join its Dallas office. The role will lead and develop tax workstreams across corporate and transactional matters, advise clients on federal and state tax issues, and collaborate with deal teams on structuring and planning.

The position offers a platform to build and grow a tax practice within a well-established, full-service firm. You will work with corporate, private equity, real estate and high-net-worth clients on tax planning, compliance, and controversy matters, and help cultivate cross-practice referrals.

Candidates should be experienced tax practitioners with a proven record of client development and the ability to originate and grow work. A portable practice or demonstrable book of business is welcomed; the firm will support integration into its broader platform.

• Juris Doctor (JD) and active Texas bar membership (or eligible to transfer).
• Extensive tax practice experience at partner or equivalent level; strong transactional and/or controversy background.
• Proven client development and relationship management skills; ability to originate work.
• Excellent written and oral communication; collaborative approach working with deal teams and other practices.
