Leading law firm in San Francisco seeks a partner to lead and grow its energy tax practice. The role focuses on delivering sophisticated tax advice to energy-sector clients across transactional, tax-planning, and regulatory matters.

The successful candidate will be a visible, client-facing leader with experience originating work and developing client relationships. You will manage a team of tax lawyers, collaborate across practices, and contribute to business development initiatives.

Established partner-level experience in energy tax and related federal/state tax matters
Proven track record of originating and managing client relationships; portable practice or demonstrable business development capability preferred
Experience supervising associates and collaborating with cross-practice deal teams
Active California bar admission or ability to be admitted
