Established national law firm is seeking a Tax Partner to join its San Francisco office. The role is a client-facing leadership position focused on delivering sophisticated federal, state and local tax advice to a mix of corporate and high-net-worth clients.

The successful candidate will lead and grow a tax practice in the market, working collaboratively with transactional, private client and business teams. This is an opportunity to join an experienced team with strong institutional support while maintaining a high degree of partner autonomy.

Admission to the California bar or eligible for admission.
Proven partner-level tax experience with substantive federal, state and local tax counseling and planning.
Demonstrated ability to originate and maintain client relationships; a portable practice or book of business is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and business development skills; experience working with transactional and private client teams.
