Tax Partner — Wilmington

Leading national law firm seeks a seasoned Tax Partner to join its Wilmington office. The role focuses on advising corporate and high‑net‑worth clients on complex federal and state tax matters, including transactional planning and tax controversy.

The successful candidate will join an established team and have the opportunity to grow a tax practice locally and regionally, working across corporate transactions, restructuring, and dispute resolution. This is a client‑facing role with strong visibility inside the office and across the firm’s US network.

• Proven partner‑level experience in tax law (federal and state tax, transactional tax, and/or tax controversy)
• Demonstrable client development and relationship management skills; portable practice encouraged
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation abilities; comfortable managing complex matters
• Active bar admission and ability to work in the Wilmington office
• Leadership skills to mentor junior lawyers and collaborate across practice groups
