Established national labor & employment firm is seeking a Traditional Labor Associate to join its Sacramento office. The role focuses on representing employers in traditional labor matters and providing advice on federal and California workplace law.

Typical work includes handling unfair labor practice charges and NLRB elections, advising on union organizing and collective bargaining, managing grievance and arbitration matters, and counseling on wage & hour, leave and accommodation issues. The position will also involve policy and handbook reviews, management training, and occasional due diligence related to transactions.

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • 4–6 years' post-qualification experience in litigation or employment advice work
  • Experience with traditional labor matters (NLRB representation, ULPs, elections) preferred
  • Admission to the California Bar
  • Strong legal research, writing and advocacy skills; attention to detail and project-management ability
  • Familiarity with federal and California enforcement agencies and wage & hour law preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
