Transactional Tax Associate — Tax (Los Angeles)

Top-tier international firm is seeking a transactional tax associate to join its Corporate/Tax team in Los Angeles. The role focuses on providing tax advice on M&A and private equity transactions, supporting deal execution from diligence and documentation through closing.

Responsibilities include legal research and drafting of tax provisions and related documents, assisting with transaction management and negotiations, and working closely with deal teams and clients. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with an expectation of regular in-office presence.

• JD from an accredited law school
• LLM in Taxation preferred
• 2+ years of transactional tax experience (M&A / private equity)
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively on fast-paced deal teams and manage competing priorities
