Growing national corporate practice is seeking a transactions associate with 3–5 years' experience to join one of several California offices. The role will handle a mix of venture capital and emerging-company financings, M&A and dispositions, private equity matters, joint ventures and general corporate counseling for public and private companies, funds and investors.

The team emphasizes collegiality, professional development and client-facing responsibility. Candidates will join a collaborative environment and work on transactional matters across the deal lifecycle, with opportunities to develop business generation skills and deeper sector knowledge.

3–5 years post-qualification transactional experience (venture capital/early-stage financings, M&A, private equity and general corporate work)
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active, good-standing membership in the California Bar
Strong drafting, communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to manage deal work and client interactions
Experience with capital markets or public company reporting is a plus; business development aptitude desirable
