Experienced associate role in a busy transportation practice seeking counsel to handle trucking, cargo and freight carrier defense matters from a city-based office in Houston.

The role requires managing insurance-defense litigation tasks including drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. Candidates will join a team-oriented environment with hybrid working arrangements and a full benefits package.

• Admission to practice in Texas
• 2–7 years of insurance defense experience handling heavy trucking/tractor-trailer, cargo, or freight carrier matters
• Strong litigation skills: drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and depositions
