Transportation Defense Attorney, New York

Experienced transportation-defense attorneys are sought for a busy New York litigation group focused on insurance defense for the trucking, cargo and freight sectors. The team regularly handles complex jury and non-jury matters involving heavy trucks, carriers, brokers and related industry participants.

Successful candidates will join a high-volume practice and handle all phases of litigation from pleadings and discovery through motion practice and depositions. The role requires strong drafting, analytical and case-management skills and offers a collaborative yet autonomous working environment.

• Admitted to practice in New York
• 1–15 years of insurance defense experience, preferably with trucking/tractor-trailer, cargo or freight carrier matters
• Experience drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions
• Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice
