Day‑to‑day responsibilities include representing clients in audits, administrative appeals, and litigation; drafting pleadings, briefs and protest letters; and supporting matters before state and municipal taxing authorities. The role may occasionally involve federal tax matters and legislative/government relations work.

- LLM in Taxation required
- 2–4 years of experience in tax law with a meaningful focus on tax controversy or SALT
- Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Admission to one or more U.S. state bars
- Solid academic credentials from a top law school
