Senior associate role within a national asset finance team based in Manchester, advising on high-value domestic and international asset finance and leasing transactions for banks, alternative funders and corporate lessees/borrowers. The role involves structuring and documenting finance leases, receivables and vendor finance, buying and selling lease books and related matters.

Work covers a wide range of asset classes (rolling stock, aviation, marine, commercial vehicles, energy and industrial plant, telecoms, medical equipment and IT hardware) and involves cross-office collaboration with specialists across the firm and with sector teams such as transport and energy.

The team emphasises professional development and business development: you will be encouraged to take responsibility for client engagement, deliver training, and participate in formal mentoring and associate development programmes to support career progression.

Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years PQE in asset finance (operating and finance leasing, receivables finance, debt and vendor finance).
Experience advising both financial institutions and borrower/lessee clients on complex transactions.
Proven ability to manage transactional workloads, coordinating with colleagues across disciplines and offices.
Commercial mindset, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Motivated to contribute to business development and to engage in continuous technical and skills development.
