Apply in confidence →We are seeking an associate with 1–3 years' experience to join a Financial Restructuring & Insolvency team focused on bankruptcy litigation. The role offers exposure to complex Chapter 11 and cross-border insolvency matters in a collaborative, high‑intensity litigation practice.
Responsibilities include supporting trials and adversary proceedings, handling all aspects of discovery, drafting pleadings and briefs, conducting research on bankruptcy and related commercial law issues, and assisting with contested plan confirmation and other restructuring disputes.
This is a hands‑on litigation role that provides frequent interaction with senior lawyers and the opportunity to develop courtroom experience and deep specialist knowledge in bankruptcy litigation.
- 1–3 years' post‑qualification experience in bankruptcy, insolvency or commercial litigation.
- Experience with pleadings, motions, legal research, and written advocacy; courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Chapter 11 practice and bankruptcy procedure, including contested plan confirmation, preference/fraudulent transfer claims, automatic stay and DIP financing issues.
- Strong drafting, analytical and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple matters under supervision and work collaboratively in teams.
