Associate, Restructuring & Insolvency — New York

Senior-level associate role within a global financial restructuring and insolvency team handling complex Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings. The role offers exposure to high-profile, cross-border matters and collaborative work with financial advisors and overseas counsel.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and disclosure statements, researching and advising on Bankruptcy Code issues, managing claims processes, and negotiating debtor-in-possession financing, cash-collateral and restructuring support agreements. The role also involves client-facing communications and contribution to internal practice materials.

• Juris Doctor and admission to the relevant state bar
• Approximately 2–4 years of bankruptcy/restructuring experience (Chapter 11 exposure preferred)
• Strong legal research, drafting and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, coordinate with financial advisors and foreign counsel, and work effectively in a team
