Apply in confidence →Global restructuring team seeks a 2–4 year associate to work on complex domestic and cross-border insolvency matters. The role offers exposure to Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 proceedings, out‑of‑court restructurings, debtor/creditor advocacy, and negotiated liability‑management transactions.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include drafting pleadings and disclosure statements, conducting bankruptcy‑law research, supporting plan development and confirmation, negotiating DIP and cash‑collateral arrangements, and coordinating with overseas counsel and financial advisors. The team values collegiality, strong judgment, and a proactive approach to ownership and learning.
- J.D. and admission (or eligibility) to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction
- 2–4 years' post‑qualification experience with bankruptcy/restructuring matters
- Demonstrated experience or interest in Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 work, reorganizations and claims processes
- Excellent drafting, research and communication skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams
