Associate — Business Restructuring & Reorganization (Bankruptcy) — New York

Top-tier restructuring team seeking an associate (law school class years 2019–2022) to join a New York-based Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice. The role covers a mix of creditor, debtor and distressed-acquisition matters, including Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Candidates should have substantial experience on liability-management transactions representing either creditors or borrowers and be comfortable working on matters for financial institutional clients such as hedge funds, CLOs and private equity funds. Preference will be given to candidates able to work in the New York office.

• Law school graduation in the class years 2019–2022
• Experience representing creditors and/or borrowers on liability-management transactions
• Experience with Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings (creditor and debtor-side work)
• Strong commercial judgment and experience working with financial institution clients
