Associate — Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss (Insurance)

Join a national insurance litigation team handling high-value catastrophic injury, motor, employer’s/public liability and indemnity large-loss matters. The role is offered across multiple UK offices and will support senior lawyers on complex multi-track claims and large-loss caseloads.

You will assist with liability and quantum work, coverage reviews, witness evidence, medical record analysis, and court attendances. The role offers exposure to client-facing work, responsibility for case management and opportunities to develop into handling lower-value large-loss matters independently as experience grows.

• Qualified solicitor with experience in personal injury litigation (defender experience preferred; claimant experience transferable)
• Experience or interest in catastrophic/large-loss work including motor, EL/PL and indemnity matters
• Practical litigation skills: witness statements, disclosure requests, medical report review and advocacy/court attendance
• Strong drafting, file-management and ability to meet client SLAs and reporting requirements
• Team player with client-service focus and willingness to support business development activities
