Experienced litigation lawyer sought for a 12-month fixed-term role within a national commercial disputes team. The role is flexible across the firm's Scotland offices (Aberdeen, Glasgow or Edinburgh) and will support a specific client project handled by the commercial disputes practice.

The disputes team works across a broad range of commercial issues and uses both court/arbitral proceedings and alternative dispute resolution. This is a hands-on role delivering commercial, pragmatic advice on contested matters and supporting senior fee-earners on complex workstreams.

The team offers high-calibre, varied work in a collaborative environment, with opportunities to contribute to training and business development activities.

Qualified lawyer with at least 2.5 years' PQE in commercial disputes or related litigation work
Experience of general commercial litigation; defender PI experience advantageous but not essential
Strong drafting, communication and time-management skills; ability to work to deadlines
Commercial, common-sense approach and comfortable supporting senior fee-earners; collaborative and able to work across offices
