Growing litigation team seeks a hands-on associate with 3–7 years' civil defense experience to handle transportation/trucking, product liability, and commercial litigation matters. You will step into active, high-exposure cases for sophisticated and self-insured clients and take ownership of a significant caseload.

This role provides close mentorship from experienced trial attorneys, frequent courtroom-facing work (hearings, depositions, trials), and opportunities for substantive development in trial strategy, expert work, and client-facing responsibilities.

Candidates must be licensed in North Carolina and able to work in the Raleigh office in person at least four days per week.

3–7 years' civil defense litigation experience, ideally including transportation/trucking and/or product liability matters
Proven litigation fundamentals: depositions, dispositive motions, written discovery, legal research, and courtroom appearances
Experience managing complex cases, working with experts, and advising corporate/self-insured clients
Strong drafting and oral advocacy skills, teamwork, professionalism, and ability to take responsibility for active matters
Admission to the North Carolina bar and willingness to be in-office at least four days per week
