Join a growing Construction & Engineering team in the firm's Bristol office, focused on non-contentious infrastructure and projects work alongside residential development. The team acts for a mix of developers, public-sector bodies and funders and is building its pipeline in transport, flood defences and NHS-related projects.

This role offers responsibility for drafting, negotiating and advising on complex construction and engineering contracts (including NEC4-based and bespoke forms), managing a personal caseload and supporting business development and tendering activities. You will work closely with senior colleagues, meet with clients, supervise paralegals and develop fee and file management skills.

There is clear scope for progression within a supportive team environment, with mentoring from experienced lawyers and opportunities to broaden experience across infrastructure projects and residential development work.

Experience or strong interest in construction contracts and infrastructure/projects; commercial contracts experience will be considered.
Strong academic record and excellent attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce high-quality work.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels.
Organised, self-motivated team player with ambition to develop professionally.
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
