As a Senior Associate, you will work alongside highly regarded partners and directors on a range of public and private M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and equity capital markets matters. The team is ranked Band 1 in Chambers & Partners for Corporate M&A: Mid-Market and operates across multiple sectors including Defence, Energy, Healthcare, and Technology.

- Broad experience advising on private and/or public company M&A, investments, joint ventures, and/or private equity transactions
- Qualified as a lawyer with the SRA or Law Society of Scotland
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with confidence to lead matters and contribute to a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to explain complex issues clearly to clients
- Experience building strong client relationships and engaging with the wider corporate finance community
- Sound matter and financial management skills
- Commercial mindset and excellent client communication
- Experience managing and developing junior lawyers
- Broad experience advising on private and/or public company mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and/or private equity transactions
- Qualified as a lawyer with the SRA or Law Society of Scotland
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to take ownership and lead on matters
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear client communication
- Experience building strong relationships with clients and the wider corporate finance community
- Demonstrable matter and financial management skills
- Strong commerciality and excellent client communication skills
- Experience managing junior lawyers, including delegating work and contributing to their development
