Senior associate-level role in a busy construction disputes team within a large national practice. The role focuses on contested matters arising from public and private construction and infrastructure projects and offers substantial client-facing responsibility and collaborative work across practice groups.

Day-to-day responsibilities include acting for owners, contractors, subcontractors and sureties on disputes and defaults, advising on insolvency-related issues for multi‑project matters, drafting and negotiating procurement and construction contracts, and handling claims such as breach of contract, trust claims and construction liens.

  • Call to the Ontario bar (or current eligibility to be called)
  • 4–6 years' PQE in construction/infrastructure law and construction dispute resolution
  • Experience acting for owners, contractors, subcontractors or sureties on construction disputes, defaults and lien matters
  • Strong drafting, advocacy and client-facing skills; comfortable working across practice groups on multi‑party matters
