Associate — Leasing (Real Estate)

Established national law firm is seeking an Associate to join its Leasing group. The role offers hands-on leasing work within a multi-disciplinary team and the opportunity to work directly with clients on routine and more complex matters.

This is a client-facing role open in the Ottawa and Toronto offices. The successful candidate will receive mentorship from senior lawyers and have scope to run routine leasing matters with limited supervision.

• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in leasing (private practice or in-house)
• Strong drafting skills and experience preparing and reviewing leasing and related contracts
• Experience negotiating leases and running routine leasing matters with minimal supervision
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills; team-player attitude
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
