Growing litigation team seeks an associate to handle consumer warranty and lemon-law litigation from our Costa Mesa office. The role focuses on defending manufacturers and service providers in warranty-related disputes in state and federal court.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions. The position offers a collaborative team environment with opportunities to serve as local or coordinating counsel on larger matters.

Admitted to practice in California
1–7 years of civil litigation experience, with preference for consumer warranty/ lemon law defense
Familiarity with Song-Beverly Act, Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, state lemon laws, UCC, and consumer sales practices statutes
Experience drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, briefing motions, and taking/defending depositions
Strong legal writing, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple matters; comfortable working independently and in teams
