Growing healthcare litigation group seeks a California-admitted associate to handle medical-malpractice and healthcare-related defense matters. The role involves representation of a broad range of healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings.

Successful candidates will join a large, collaborative practice and will handle discovery, initial pleadings, motion practice, and depositions. The team is open to candidates with direct healthcare malpractice experience as well as litigators from other practices with a demonstrated interest in healthcare law.

Admitted to practice in California.
1–7 years of litigation experience; healthcare/medical malpractice defense preferred.
Experience drafting/responding to discovery and pleadings, briefing and arguing motions, and taking/defending depositions.
Strong legal writing, analysis, time-management, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Comfortable litigating in state and federal courts and in administrative settings.
