Associate — Corporate (M&A) — Leeds

An established corporate practice in Leeds is seeking two experienced corporate lawyers to join its M&A team. The role offers a mix of local and cross-border transactional work, including acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations and occasional equity capital markets and private equity matters.

The team works closely with national and international colleagues, providing frequent exposure to cross-jurisdictional mandates and secondment opportunities. Candidates should expect a busy transactional role with opportunities to contribute to business development and to develop client relationships.

• Qualified solicitor with approximately 3–8 years PQE in corporate/M&A.
• Solid transactional M&A experience; exposure to private equity and ECM a plus.
• Comfortable managing multiple transactions to tight deadlines and delivering excellent client service.
• Commercial awareness, willingness to support business development, and ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• At senior/principal level, experience supervising and coaching junior lawyers.
