Associate, Debt Finance — New York

Top-tier international law firm is seeking a mid-level debt finance associate to join its New York debt finance team. The role focuses on syndicated and leveraged lending matters across a variety of industries and jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will work closely with U.S. and international partners and associates on complex financing transactions, contributing to drafting and negotiating credit agreements and commitment papers.

• Juris Doctor (JD) or foreign equivalent; eligible for admission and in good standing (or able to become admitted) in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction
• 4–7 years' relevant debt and leveraged finance experience at a major law firm
• Experience drafting and negotiating leveraged finance commitment papers and credit agreements
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
