Corporate Trust Associate, Finance & Banking — New York

Mid-level associate opportunity in a busy corporate trust / loans practice in New York. The role involves advising corporate trust companies and bank trust departments acting as indenture trustee or agent across capital markets, structured finance, project finance, loan facilities, secured and asset‑backed lending, custodial arrangements and other agency appointments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating closings, managing client relationships and working closely with colleagues across global markets and loan teams. The position is based in New York with hybrid working arrangements and is eligible for firm benefits and an annual discretionary bonus.

Compensation range (as advertised): $260,000 to $420,000.

• Minimum 3 years of substantive experience advising corporate trust companies, bank trust departments, or similar clients on capital markets, structured finance or asset‑backed transactions.
• Familiarity with indentures, trustee and agent roles, loan and security documentation, and custodial arrangements.
• Strong transactional drafting and negotiation skills and experience managing complex closings.
• JD and admission to the New York bar (or eligibility to be admitted); excellent communication and teamwork skills.
