Private practice disputes team in Manchester seeking a qualified associate to join a busy commercial litigation and insolvency practice. The team handles domestic and cross-border commercial disputes, High Court litigation, arbitration and other ADR across a broad client base including corporates, financial services and professional firms.

The role offers exposure to commercial litigation, corporate/post-transaction disputes, LLP/partnership and insolvency-related matters, together with opportunities on media, technology and crypto-related disputes. You will work on high-value and technically demanding matters with supervision and clear career benchmarks.

Successful candidates will be encouraged to develop technical expertise, contribute to client service and business development activities, and build strong internal and external relationships as part of a collaborative team culture.

Qualified solicitor with approximately 4–6 years PQE in dispute resolution/commercial litigation
Experience of High Court litigation, arbitration and insolvency-related disputes
Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills with strong attention to detail
Comfortable taking responsibility for matters and dealing directly with clients; commercially minded and proactive
Interest in developing business development and client relationship skills; collaborative team player
