A growing UK disputes practice is hiring a Managing Associate to join its commercial disputes team. The role offers market-facing, high-calibre work across commercial litigation, arbitration and investigations, with clear opportunities for career progression and internal support.

The post will involve managing complex cases, supervising associate teams under partner oversight, and advising on a broad range of commercial and corporate disputes. The team works collaboratively across offices and with non-contentious colleagues to deliver pragmatic dispute-resolution strategies using litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

The firm promotes development through training, mentoring and leadership programmes, and expects senior team members to contribute to business development and to coach more junior lawyers.

Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in private practice handling commercial disputes
Proven experience managing complex litigation and arbitration matters and supervising junior lawyers
Strong commercial judgment, attention to detail and client relationship skills
Demonstrable interest in business development and working collaboratively across teams
