Apply in confidence →Top-tier international law firm seeks a transactional associate for its New York office to advise U.S. and international corporate clients on complex employee benefits and executive compensation matters. The role includes plan design, implementation, and regulatory compliance work, plus support on mergers, acquisitions and other transactions.
The associate will lead due diligence on deals, identify benefits and compensation risks, draft and negotiate transactional and executive compensation documents, and manage post-closing processes. Hybrid schedule with up to two days per week remote within the NYC metro.

- J.D., LL.M. or equivalent and approximately 3 years' post-qualification experience in employee benefits/executive compensation.
- Transaction experience: M&A and private equity matters, due diligence, drafting and negotiating compensation and benefits agreements.
- Substantive knowledge of executive compensation topics, including Section 409A and 208G compliance.
- Experience advising on global reorganizations, integrations, and portfolio company arrangements helpful.
- Eligible for or admitted to practice in New York.
