Employee Benefits Associate, Employment & Labor — New York

National law firm seeking a transactional employee benefits associate for its New York office. The role focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits work, particularly the benefits and exec-comp aspects of mergers & acquisitions.

The successful candidate will work on executive compensation plans and programs, employment agreements, and related labor & employment matters in transactional settings. The team values candidates with Big Law experience but will consider strong transactional backgrounds from other settings.

• 3–5 years of transactional experience with employee benefits and executive compensation
• Experience advising on executive compensation plans, employment agreements, and benefits elements of M&A
• Strong drafting and deal execution skills in transactional contexts
• Admitted to the New York Bar
• Big Law experience preferred but not required
