Associate — Employers' & Public Liability (EL/PL)

National practice hiring an Associate to join a multi-office UK liability defence team handling employers' and public liability claims. The role involves managing a mixed caseload from pre‑litigation through litigated matters, including complex and high-value multi-track files and catastrophic injury claims.

This is a hybrid, full‑time position covering offices in multiple UK locations. The team works closely with national and international colleagues on cross‑border quantum enquiries and uses technology and process innovations to deliver efficient defence solutions.

• Minimum 3 years' UK qualified solicitor or CILEX qualification with relevant defence litigation experience
• Experience handling defence work up to high multi‑track (EL/PL, motor, defective premises, product liability)
• Basic knowledge of policy coverage and insurers' processes
• Strong analytical, case‑management and client‑facing skills; able to manage multiple files in a fast‑paced team
