Senior associate-level role for an employment lawyer with experience across contentious and non-contentious matters. You will advise multinational and local clients on a broad range of employment issues, including internal investigations, large-scale restructures, and employee documentation.

The role involves cross-border liaison with regional correspondent firms, supporting corporate transactions on employment aspects, and defending/settling complex employment disputes in local courts. The position sits within an established international practice with varied sector exposure (energy, transport, mining, construction, financial services, TMT, insurance).

  • 4–5 years post-qualification experience in employment law with both contentious and non-contentious work
  • Experience at a large international or regional top-tier firm preferred
  • Proven ability to conduct internal investigations and advise on large-scale restructurings
  • Strong drafting skills (contracts, policies, settlement agreements) and experience with employment aspects of transactions (due diligence, warranties)
  • Team player, proactive, strong academic background; Australia-wide experience advantageous
