Short-term (3 month), full-time hybrid role embedded with a major retailer via a flexible legal resourcing team of a leading international law firm. The role is practice-facing and focused on industrial/employee relations matters.

You will provide pragmatic, strategic advice on union engagement, collective bargaining and industrial disputes, working autonomously to meet commercial objectives and support operational stakeholders. This role suits an experienced industrial relations lawyer able to hit the ground running and integrate quickly into the business.

  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in industrial/employee relations.
  • Proven experience dealing with unions, collective bargaining and industrial disputes.
  • Ability to provide strategic, commercial and practical legal advice to business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Current practising certificate and right to live and work in Australia.
