Apply in confidence →Top-tier New York office is seeking a mid-level corporate associate to join a busy energy & infrastructure M&A practice. The role focuses on representing private equity sponsors and other infrastructure market participants on complex acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic transactions across power, renewables, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
Day-to-day work combines traditional M&A with project-finance related matters: leading deal execution from bid process through closing, negotiating transaction documents, and supporting cross-disciplinary teams on JV and project-finance elements. The team favours candidates who enjoy high-value, sophisticated transactions and client-facing responsibility.
- 4-7 years’ post-qualification transactional experience, with a strong private equity M&A background
- Experience representing energy and infrastructure sponsors, developers, funds, utilities or infrastructure owners/operators
- Track record on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and project-finance-related transactions
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and deal-management skills; ability to work across corporate and finance disciplines
- Juris Doctor (or equivalent) and active bar membership in a U.S. jurisdiction
