Mid-level Associate, Direct Lending — New York

Well-regarded New York office seeking a mid-level associate to join a transactional team focused on alternative investments and direct lending. The role involves drafting and negotiating loan and security documentation, advising on asset-backed and direct lending structures, and supporting deal execution from diligence through closing.

The team works on lender- and borrower-side financings across private credit and structured lending; the position offers substantive exposure to complex lending documentation and regular interaction with senior lawyers and clients.

• Mid- or senior-associate level with proven experience in direct lending and/or asset-backed finance transactions
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills on loan agreements, security documents and intercreditor arrangements
• Comfortable working on deal execution, due diligence and closing logistics in a fast-paced transactional practice
• J.D. (or equivalent), active bar admission and strong academic record; excellent communication and teamwork skills
