Apply in confidence →Well-regarded international firm is seeking a transactional associate to join its Energy, Transportation & Infrastructure practice. The role is open in multiple U.S. offices; candidates should apply to the office of interest.
The associate will work on renewable and energy-transition financings and M&A, representing sponsors, developers, investors and financial institutions. Typical matters include project finance and tax equity transactions and negotiation of project agreements such as PPAs, EPC and O&M contracts.
Successful candidates will be collaborative team players who can manage complex transactions, interact with clients, and apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Prior law firm experience is required.
- Minimum 3 years of transactional law experience (project finance, tax equity, energy development or related).
- Experience negotiating project agreements (e.g., PPA, EPC, O&M) and working on U.S. renewables/power matters.
- Comfortable with client interaction and managing complex, cross-disciplinary transactions.
- Admission to practice in the jurisdiction of the chosen office; prior law firm experience required.
