Apply in confidence →Leading national practice is seeking a transactional associate to join its Energy, Transportation & Infrastructure team. The role is open to hires in multiple U.S. offices (candidates should select their office of interest) and focuses on renewable and energy-transition matters across project finance, tax equity and M&A transactions.
Work will involve representing sponsors, developers, investors and financial institutions on U.S. renewables and power-sector deals, including negotiation of project agreements (for example, PPAs, EPC and O&M contracts). The team values collaborative lawyers who can manage complex transactions, engage directly with clients and deliver practical commercial advice.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification transactional experience (prior law firm experience required)
- Experience in U.S. project finance and tax equity transactions and/or energy project development
- Familiarity negotiating project agreements such as PPA, EPC and O&M contracts
- Strong analytical, drafting and client-facing skills; proven ability to work on multi-party deals
- Admission to practice in the local U.S. jurisdiction for the chosen office
